Pear bircher muesli


INGREDIENTS

  • 1⁄4 cup jumbo oats

  • 2 Tablespoons chia seeds

  • 1⁄4 cup coconut milk

  • 1⁄2 cup water

  • 1⁄4 teaspoon cinnamon

  • 1 pear

  • 1⁄2 cup walnuts, toasted and chopped

  • 1-2 Tablespoons ground flaxseeds


INSTRUCTIONS

  1. In a container combine oats, chia, coconut milk, water, and cinnamon. Mix well. Grate half of the pear and add to this mix, combine well. Place in fridge overnight.

  2. Toast 1/3 cup of walnuts in the oven or in a pan on the stove. Once cooled, chop and store in an airtight container.

  3. In the morning, chop the remaining half of the pear and add to the mix from the fridge. Top with chopped, toasted walnuts and ground flax seeds.

  4. Enjoy!
